Weekend Edition | Thanksgiving at Rosemary Beach + Teen Gift Guide

How is your week going? Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!

Sofia had a cheer comp the weekend before Thanksgiving then we left early Monday morning for Rosemary Beach, FL. One of our favorite places on earth!!!

My parents treated us all again (the ones in the pic above – LOVE YOU MOM + DAD!!!), I really quite love this family of mine so very much 😉 We do argue and get snappy, we’re not perfect, but we always come back to the love we all have for each other. I’m blessed to be able to provide Sofia with a strong family unit and cousins she can always count on.

The weather was a bit blah the first few days and cold! We took loads of walks to the city center and a couple walks on the beach (the girls couldn’t resist doing cheer flips in that powder sugar sand!). We shopped + ate on repeat. And dropped a small fortune at the Sugar Shak. IYKYK

My Mom and Dad cooked everything from scratch for Thanksgiving dinner, can you tell we’re Italian? Then Friday we took the girls to s’mores with Santa at AJ’s, they had a fire pit going and fake snow. Everything on 30a is a vibe.

I tried to order the majority of Christmas gifts on the long drive back to Charlotte, now I just need to wrap. Speaking of wrapping, Ikea has the best Scandinavian print paper, so simple, so chic. This one is cute too, they were sold out when we went to the store.

Here’s a few tween/teen gift ideas:

Stanley (30oz) with glitter straws, glitter boot + cute cloud straw toppers
– Innbeauty + Poppi collab: lipgloss then purchase a couple Poppi drinks to throw in their stocking
Polaroid printer, cork board + push pins
Sol de Janeiro bath + body kits
Hismile toothpaste (great stocking stuffer!)
Lush bath bombs
Lululemon leggings + belt bag
Oversized Nike sweat shirt
Uggs
Glow Recipe minis
Nail polish set
preppy blanket
– everything from the craft section at Target/Michaels (loose glitter, glitter glue, paint, brushes, fun stickers, canvas’, wood figurines to decorate, craft glue, scissors etc) with storage bins to create their own craft station

Here’s what we’re cooking this week!

MONDAY: picked up Chinese food
TUESDAY: baked lemon chicken Greek bowls (chopped chicken, quinoa, red onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, tzatziki + lemon hummus)
WEDNESDAY: baked bbq salmon (brush on your fave bbq sauce and bake at 425 degrees for ~12min), rice pilaf + asparagus
THURSDAY: steak, mashed potatoes + broccoli
FRIDAY: out

Hope you have a great week!
