How was your Easter weekend? Hope you had glorious weather!!!
Friday/Saturday was pretty nasty here – loads of rain, clouds, thunder, lightening. We had to give Vinny his sedative Friday night, poor guy gets freaked out when the thunder doesn’t ease up.
We ran to the mall to get out of the house Saturday – parking is underground so we dodged the rain. Sofia grabbed a few bath bombs at Lush and while we were they I picked up Sympathy for the skin. This was my wedding lotion. LOL, very random – it smells like banana pudding and feels so smooth.
Easter morning we were up early, Sofia loved what the bunny brought her. She’s at the age where she’s like “I know the bunny is Daddy” but she’s also like “maybe the bunny is real!?”
I kept dinner easy – just heated up a few things we had grabbed at Costco. A mini ham, au gratin potatoes and maple dijon glazed carrots.
Oh and you know how our dang patio door slams shut like whoah and creates the craziest draft when the garage door is opened? Sofia got her finger slammed in it last weekend and then yesterday it created such a draft my arch mirror fell onto the ground and shattered. Thinking I might buy a cute door stop for the time being.
Weekly Find: I’m in the middle of packing and have to say, this tote is a current fave (have it in black and the big pouch in ecru). I use it every day to carry around my laptop and used it when we traveled to Switzerland. It’s lightweight, holds a good amount and cleans easily. It came with a matching pouch and I also bought the bigger pouch. For the price the quality can’t be beat!
There’s no meal plan this week – we leave to visit my family in FL tomorrow! Tonight I’m grabbing my usual pre-flight dinner…Jersey Mike’s turkey sub in a tub.
