Happy Monday!
We had a weekend with no plans. Sofia had try-outs for competition cheer last Thursday, then she had private tumbling lessons Friday so by Saturday we were ready to relax. We decided to cancel gymnastics and have a slow morning. Sometimes saying no to the go-go-go is VERY needed.
Mike did yard work while I caught up on house stuff inside. The weather was amazing, Sofia ran around in the sprinklers. I made lemon chicken orzo soup that I didn’t get around to making last week – there were no leftovers! It is a definite add to your spring recipes. I used rotisserie chicken to make life easier. 😉
Sunday was another slow relaxing day. Mike went golfing. Sofia had the neighbor over and they put their gymnastic air tracks together to make a gigantic slip-n-slide. I binged a new course I’m taking – focuses on God centered entrepreneurship. A new program came to me while I was in the shower. I literally got out soaking wet to write it all down. Can’t wait to share more with you!!! And then we did a quick Trader Joe’s run – they have the most fabulous flowers!!! Sofia picked out mauve colored roses and I grabbed pink peony tulips. Literally get so freaking happy every time I walk into the kitchen and see them!
Weekly Find:kitchen candle – light on the fragrance, looks super cute in a wine coaster
