We spent last week in FL with my family. It was Sofia’s spring break, Mike had to work and stayed home with Vinny, so, Sofia and I went down for a few days. That was our first time back in over a year!
We had kind of yucky weather the first few days and did a little shopping + eating! We were able to fit in lunch with my grandparents. They are 86 and VIBING!!! Always looking to have a good time. My grandma thinks Obama is her best friend and I think that’s fabulous. She has very high thoughts! They sent us home with a few goodies – gardening gloves for me and a little trinket box for Sofia. 🙂
We were able to get an amazing pool day in on Friday. Sofia and I spent 3hrs floating around. We also squeezed in loads of family time. I would share a few stories but they aren’t PG. HA, when all of us are together it’s trouble!!!
We flew back home Saturday morning – I thought we’d relax when we got home but Sofia invited all the neighbors over to do a cheer routine in the playroom.
Sunday was spent meal planning, laundry and a few family things we’re dealing with. Our life is usually easy breezy so this has been a bit of a jolt to the system. Hoping the chaos just brings us – up and up!!!
Weekly Find: I had to reorder our arched mirror after the old one fell and shattered. I love it so much, highly recommend. Quality is excellent!!!

MONDAY: Sheet Pan Sesame Beef + Broccoli with rice
TUESDAY: roasted tomato basil + feta orzo with shrimp
WEDNESDAY: one pot broccoli cheddar chicken and rice
THURSDAY: coconut chicken fingers with bang bang sauce, French beans + Mac and cheese
FRIDAY: out
